Naps aren't Naps at All
Dear Jeeves,
I feel as if I'm still in a dream. I am still very much half asleep. I dreamt of flying down freeways in LA, chalk painting against the outside of the very top of a skyscraper,
trying to get it ready to take a picture with it for my passport, I think (This would make sense as I really did do this earlier, taking a picture for a passport that is).
Disguising myself as an enthusiastic walking cartoon animal to get passed whoever,
and the lady seeing the chalk bucket, and sniffing me to see if it came from me.
Then i became a fairy boy who was being pelted with tiny metal balls by
a giant in an arena.
I had to throw them as hard as I could to hit his face.
But alas, it didn't affect him at all. This was really scary as there was no floor
and I kept being flung down amidst many tiny floating rocks,
trying with all my might to cling to them as I passed and barely grabbing the
very last floating little rock before I could plummet to my death.
It was as if in an enchantment, I couldn't get up even though I woke ever so often. I felt drugged and unable to move or think like a normal citizen.
I have concluded that naps are really spells or enchantments that fairies put on you, making sure you don't ever wake up.
But it was the strangest of naps, and I'm not sure I quite enjoyed it.
You will do well not to ever take one, Jeeves.
